Regenerative medicine focuses on the ability to regrow, repair, or replace damaged or diseased cells, tissue, or organs using therapeutic stem cells, tissue engineers, and the creation of artificial organs. Regenerative medicine is one of the fastest-growing medical fields due to its potential to treat acute and chronic illnesses as well as repair congenital defects.
