Description
Massachusetts Society for Medical Research’s Three I’s: Research Integrity & Biosecurity™ conference is the first and only event designed to address the complex challenges that touch the IACUC, IBC and IRB communities — issues relating to research integrity, ethics, communications and social media, importing/exporting and much, much more. It’s essential for the collaboration that drives the research community forward, enabling attendees to work smarter, not harder.
Conference attendees will benefit from the combined skills and knowledge represented through MSMR, the North Carolina Association for Biomedical Research, the FBI Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate, and the Maine Regulatory Training and Ethics Center, and recognized industry experts and compliance professionals, which will allow participants to increase their understanding of vital issues facing the life science community.
Conference topics will address:
- Research Administration (*New track for 2020*)
- Risk Assessment for Animal Models
- Biosafety and Biosecurity
- Common Rule and IRBs
- IACUC, IBC and IRB regulatory updates
- Conflict of Interest
- Bioethics across the Three I’s and Biosecurity
- Controlled Substances in Non-Clinical Research
- Data Security and Privacy
- Research Integrity
- IACUC, IBC and IRB best practices for sharing, integration and overlap
- Spotting the Issues: IACUC, IBC and IRB
- Updating IRBs on Social Media Research Contexts and Dilemmas
