Description
First Flight is delighted to host lunchtime programs, "Itineraries," that offer a chance for members of the First Flight community and broader innovation ecosystem to learn about the work of early stage science-focused companies, network and have some fun at the same time! The October 22nd Itineraries will be held at Hangar6.
Join us October 22nd from 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM EST at Hangar6 to hear case studies of how the design and production journey doesn't have to be a nightmare.
Sam Dirani, Shop Manager at Hangar6, will speak about:
- How many versions does it take to find out if your design will work?
- What material should you use?
- Materials you choose may not be cost effective for the long run.
- Learn how to save time, money and frustration by having access to Hangar6
With an undergraduate degree in biology, an MA in industrial design, and years of experience running maker spaces and prototyping facilities, Sam provides invaluable assistance to the members of Hangar6 as they transform their ideas into prototypes.
