This new documentary short film features hardworking North Carolinians from across the state striving to care for their families and communities without access to health care. Immediately following the screening, we will host a live panel discussion and Q&A featuring the filmmaker, subjects featured in the film and community leaders. Refreshments will be available before the screening.
As part of the Medicaid Covers US public education campaign, ACS CAN has partnered with award-winning documentary filmmaker, Ky Dickens, to produce a series of mini-documentaries that provide an in-depth look into the lives of those who have Medicaid health insurance as well as those who remain uninsured. And we’re so excited the latest film is focused on North Carolina!
