Yet\, success hinges on public support and acceptance granting researchers\, scientists and the food system the social license to responsibly develop gene editing to its full potential.\n\nBased on consumer research about use of technology in food production\, a communication resource was recently released by the Coalition for Responsible Gene Editing in Agriculture. This Coalition is facilitated by The Center for Food Integrity (CFI)\, whom we have invited to RTP to offer this workshop on how to participate in an informed public dialogue and build trust in gene editing. To provide a customized\, interactive experience with the training\, we will split into two groups: scientists and marketers/ag communicators.
